The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce announced that Lil Wayne, Linkin Park, Kate Hudson, Pedro Pascal and Karol G are among the 32 entertainers selected for the Hollywood Walk of Fame Class of 2027.
The new class spans six categories — motion pictures, television, recording, live theatre/live performance, radio and sports entertainment — with honorees chosen from hundreds of nominations and approved by the Chamber’s Board of Directors. The announcement was made during a ceremony at Funko Hollywood by Walk of Famers Ming-Na Wen and Sheila E., alongside Hollywood Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Ron Frierson.
The recording category includes Lil Wayne, Linkin Park, Karol G, David Guetta, Sia, The Smashing Pumpkins, The Ramones, Joseph “Grandmaster Flash” Saddler, composer Marc Shaiman and the late country legend Waylon Jennings, who will be honored posthumously. In motion pictures, Kate Hudson joins Idris Elba, Sam Elliott, Sam Rockwell, Delroy Lindo, Cheech & Chong, Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos and sisters Elle and Dakota Fanning, who will make Walk of Fame history as the first siblings to receive a joint double-star ceremony.
Television honorees include Pedro Pascal, Lisa Kudrow, Adam Scott, Keke Palmer, David Alan Grier, Bill Lawrence, Jeff Probst and Raven-Symoné. The remaining selections recognize comedian Jo Koy, Nicole Scherzinger and ballet star Roberto Bolle in live performance, NASCAR champion Jimmie Johnson in sports entertainment and radio personality Lenard “Charlamagne tha God” McKelvey in the radio category. Walk of Fame Selection Committee Chairman Peter Roth said, “The Walk of Fame Selection Committee is proud to welcome the Class of 2027 to one of the most enduring symbols of achievement in entertainment.”
Lil Wayne reacted to the news on social media, saying he initially believed the announcement was a prank before learning it had been confirmed. Frierson praised the incoming class during the unveiling, saying, “This class continues the proud legacy of the Walk of Fame,” adding that the honorees represent performers, storytellers and innovators whose work has shaped entertainment across generations.
Dates for the individual star ceremonies have not yet been announced. Recipients generally have up to two years to schedule their unveiling after selection, with ceremony dates typically revealed only days in advance.
