The power struggle at the center of Paramount+’s MobLand will resume Sept. 18, when the crime drama returns for its 10-episode second season. Paramount+ confirmed the premiere date while releasing a new teaser featuring the return of Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren as the Harrigan family’s increasingly volatile fight for control intensifies.
Hardy reprises his role as fixer Harry Da Souza, who once again finds himself caught between loyalty and survival as tensions threaten to tear apart the Harrigan criminal empire. The teaser suggests the family’s internal divisions have deepened following the events of Season 1, with Conrad and Maeve Harrigan back at the center of a violent struggle for power while rivals look to exploit the growing instability. Returning cast members include Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, Janet McTeer, Toby Jones and Alex Fine, while Johnny Flynn and Ophelia Lovibond have been promoted to series regulars.
Produced by Guy Ritchie, MobLand quickly became one of Paramount+’s biggest original hits after its 2025 debut, drawing millions of viewers worldwide and earning a second-season renewal following its strong streaming performance. The series follows two rival London crime families whose escalating feud places Harry in the middle of increasingly dangerous conflicts where shifting alliances and betrayals can prove deadly.
The Season 2 announcement also puts to rest months of speculation surrounding Hardy’s future with the series after reports of behind-the-scenes tensions surfaced earlier this year. Despite those rumors, Hardy returns as the show’s central character, with the new episodes promising higher stakes, escalating violence and a family on the brink of civil war as the battle for the Harrigan empire enters its next chapter.
